Hello — I'm Sabina.

Some people find their path early. Mine took me around the world first — and I wouldn't change a thing.

I started my career in the heart of London, supporting classical musicians and directors at one of the UK's most prestigious artist management agencies. From there I moved into the public sector, spending six years at the Mayor of London's Office at the Greater London Authority — co-organizing five annual mayoral conferences, coordinating city-wide community consultations for the London 2011 Census, and learning what it really means to bring people together around something that matters.

Then came Dubai. I spent several years in the UAE — first as Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President Commercial at PepsiCo's AMEA headquarters, managing high-level diaries, international events, and senior stakeholder relationships across a global organization. Then as a teaching assistant and eventually a classroom teacher in international schools, supporting learners from Abu Dhabi to Dubai in IB and British education systems.

Each chapter taught me something different. London gave me events and policy. PepsiCo gave me corporate precision and executive support. The classroom gave me patience, adaptability, and a deep understanding of how people learn and grow. And every role — in every country — reinforced the same truth: the best work happens when the operational detail is handled so well that the people doing the meaningful work barely notice it.

That's what brought me back to Canada — and eventually to Uxbridge, Ontario, where I completed a degree in Communication Studies at York University (Magna Cum Laude, GPA 3.8), built a social media and digital content role at York's Atkinson Centre for Mature and Part-Time Students, joined the board of the Uxbridge Youth Centre, and launched a youth music programme from scratch.

And it's what led me to found Cultivate & Connect.

Because after twenty years of supporting executives, coordinating events for thousands of people, designing community consultations, teaching in international classrooms, and building programmes for young people — I realized that what I do best isn't any one of those things in isolation. It's the ability to walk into any organization, understand how it works, see where the friction is, and build the systems, communications, and coordination structures that make everything run better.

Today I work with arts, music, and community organizations — virtually and in person across Durham Region, York Region, and the GTA — bringing that same combination of international experience, organizational backbone, and genuine AI fluency to every engagement.

I take the operational weight off your plate. So you can focus on the work that only you can do.

A few things that make me different

• International perspective. I've worked in three countries across four sectors. Public sector, private sector, education, and community - I speak the language of a lot of different rooms, and I know how to get people aligned around a shared goal.
• AI fluency. I love exploring new tools and try and incorporate AI curiosity into my work. Not as a gimmick, but as a practical skill that makes the work I deliver faster, smarter, and more systematized than traditional support.
• Multilingual. English, Russian, basic French, and basic Bulgarian - useful when your stakeholders, clients, or community don't all speak the same language.
• Already doing this work. Most recently, I coordinated volunteer operations across multiple venues at Springtide Music Festival 2026, and I am also on the Board of Directors at the Uxbridge Youth Centre where I am helping to develop the youth music programme. Cultivate & Connect isn't a concept - it's already in motion.
